Saúl Alonso Monsalve has been awarded the Enrique Fuentes Quintana Award from FUNCAS at the Category of Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Architecture, for his doctoral thesis “Novel usage of deep learning and high-performance computing in long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments”.
Sául Alonso has a degree in Computer Engineering, a PhD in Computer Science and Technology from UC3M and a senior software engineer at the Federal Polytechnic School of Zürich (ETH Zürich). In addition, he was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in the 20-21 Call for Proposals of the UC3M.
